Earth Freq is committed to finding ways to minimise our environmental impact as a festival, and to create positive outcomes from our event. this includes:
- $1 per head is donated to the wilderness society for their amazing work.
- One tree will be planted from each pre-sold ticket sold through Green Tix
(online ticket sales and selected instore outlets) - We encourage car-pooling to minimise the carbon footprint of the event.
A forum has been set up to assist people wishing to car-pool - Food stalls are strongly encouraged to use recycled materials and avoid plastics.
- Bins will be positioned everywhere onsite, you will be provided with garbage bags and portable ashtrays. Please consider taking your recyclables home for recycling!
We urge you to consider the beautiful environment we are able to gather and dance in, and treat it kindly. Please - use the bins provided in the event area, take your excess rubbish with you, do not bring anything onsite you are not prepared to take home - (camping gear, seats, couches, kitchen sinks etc) and only camp in the designated areas.
