TIPPER (Tipper Music/UK)

Although mostly known in the breakbeat scene, Tipper’s output includes a host of other styles. He is also known for his interest in extreme bass frequencies. Tipper co-founded the label Fuel Records at the age of 16, which released output from several other prominent electronic artists. At 18 he signed to Sony subsidiary label Higher Ground for his first full album release. At age 26 he signed to the prestigious L.A. based surround sound label 5.1 Entertainment, who released his first full surround sound DVD "Surrounded". He then set up his own label, Tipper music, which specifically releases his own output. He has released 8 albums to date, as well as a host of other singles and remixes for artists such as Leftfield, Grooverider and Africa Bambaataa, to name a few. Tipper makes music for sound systems, with a diversity that ranges from bass fuelled electro-breaks, to hip-hop, to intricately programmed down tempo, to full orchestral compositions etc - music that demands to be played at high volumes to unleash their lethal potential. With a musical background in classical training, and listing influences from drum & bass, to hip-hop, to electronica, Tipper has created his own brand of devastating dancefloor bombs and after club ear-teasers. He is admired for being "streaks ahead," and his "expertly crafted" productions are dubbed as being "frightening yet refreshing"..."if it doesn't move you, check for a pulse."

SPOONBILL (Omelette/Melb)

Spoonbill is Melbourne based electronic producer and sound artist Jim Moynihan. Spoonbill’s latest call from the wild is both cerebral sonic entertainment and smoothly-beaten groove, coming together as a heavily edited fusion of live recorded instrumentation and fabricated electronica. From antique tones to genre-warping sound art, the spoonytune is a mastery of chaos. Enticing listeners with its smooth, shiny shell of downtempo groove, it breaks open to reveal a thick and fast-flowing yolk of intricate beat chemistry. The Spoonbill project was born from an egg on a mountaintop in 2002. Since then Spoony has played countless live shows across the globe and released 3 full length albums on his own label - Omelette Records.

SCOTT WALKER

Scott’s mission since first stepping up to the decks nine years ago has always been to deliver quality music to the masses, and his versatility is the most valuable weapon in his arsenal. In the past he pushed his passion for progressive and tribal rhythms, and tech-funk flavoured breaks, and is now focussing his passion for deep house, tech-house, and the more melodic strains of minimal. That's not to say he can't still smash out a peak time set of main room tech though. Scott's ability to blend such diverse elements together ensures that every set is a smooth ride no matter how wide the musical spectrum.

FUZION

At the age of 15, the art of dj’ing and music manipulation captured the mind and imagination of a young man addicted to music. It was in his early teens that he developed a passion for electronic music, devoting the rest of his life to a singular obsession. In 1997 he applied himself to the art and began forging his technique.
3 Turntables, 2 CD-J's, 1 Pioneer DJM 800 mixer, 1 loop sampler, 1 bag of top shelf techno. A fusion is when two or more things join, or are combined; and this definition describes DJ Fuzion perfectly. By layering record over record over record and carefully controlling the mixes whilst manipulating his loop sampler, Fuzion is able to create new remixes out of current classics. Handpicked to support legends like Carl Cox, Derrick May, Jeff Mills, Carl Craig, Richie Hawtin & Adam Beyer, Fuzion = Quality.

FLUXX

At an early age Fluxx formed great interest in the production of electronic music. While most djs focused the majority of their time on mixing, Fluxx was busy in the studio utilizing both mixing and production skills to generate a unique and very dancer friendly style of music, which has received a great response from well established djs and artists within the underground music scene. For the past two years Fluxx has been djing clubs and outdoor events with an array of production companies in venues such as the Moonbar at Empire, Stepinn and 12 lounge bar just to name a few. After gaining a fan base for his live performances and studio production, Fluxx became involved in promotion and started running his own events. He created the techno party "Alchemy" which was launched at Club 320 and has had great support from the likes of "Lets Get Minimal" Bump and Funk" "Subtract" and "Ulterior" With an array of dancefloor bombs, a passionate thirst for new sounds and flawless mixing ability, Fluxx has set the stage for his audience to join him on a journey of rhythm, bass and sound.

MOISTA CLOISTA (SixBux/CrankTheSteza)

The Moista Cloista is a psychoacoustic science experiment gone wrong,
brought to life in an underwater lab somewhere in the post apocalyptic swamps of Shanti Town by the hideously deformed and slightly insane Dr. Lawnsnail. After a falling out with Dr. Lawnsnail about the natives involuntary flatulence and nipple retraction caused by prolonged exposure to the Cloista's low end frequency experiments, and deciding Shanti Town was way too shanti, Moista Cloista left home with his box of moist, heinous post-apocalyptic swampstep to cause flatulence, nipple retraction and mayhem elsewhere. Moista Cloista was last seen cranking the steza and experimenting with flatulent basslines and wonky dub inspired beats at one of John West's own private sledge farm and dolphin refineries, somewhere in the Carribean.....
