~ Location ~

Earth Freq 2010 will be located in the beautiful outdoor venue of LandCruiser Mountain Park,
2hrs north-west of Brisbane. - www.landcruisermountainpark.com.au

 Facilities:
  • The venue is fully equipped with toilets and showers!
  • Camping is included in the event ticket price from Midday Friday to Monday afternoon.
(additional camping fees will apply to any visitors before or after this time)
  • The event will have First-Aid and Security onsite to ensure a safe weekend for everyone.

Venue Guidelines:
  • There will be a site map given to you upon arrival with designated camping areas, and signage to remind you of this. Please respect the layout of the event and camp in these designated areas.
  • Once you have parked your car and set up camp, we ask that you leave your car for the weekend unless driving back in to town. We wish to minimise traffic movement around the festival area.
  • If you wish to visit any other parts of Landcruiser Mountain Park than the marked festival area, you will need to follow standard procedure and register with the Park Office (signed onsite) and pay appropriate fees.
  • Please help us to maintain a beautiful event by using the bins provided, leaving a clean camping space and taking excess rubbish with you at the end of the weekend.
  • BYO is permitted but we encourage a moderate and responsible approach to alcohol consumption. Excessive amounts of alcohol being brought in to the event may be confiscated. Anti-social or violent behaviour will not be tolerated and will be dealt with by security and taken up with the police.
  • At the venue owner's request, no glass is to be brought on to the property. Random car searches may occur. Don't say you weren't warned if your carton of glass beverages is confiscated when entering the venue.
  • Please do not bring illicit substances in to the festival.
  • No pets to be brought to the festival - especially dogs! Dogs running loose may be impounded and a release fee will apply. Please, we want a safe, clean festival environment for everyone to enjoy.
  • Please do not arrive to the festival before midday on the Friday, and please assist us with making pack-down and cleanup easy by leaving the site by Monday afternoon at the very latest.

Getting There:
LandCruiser Mountain Park is a 2 hr drive from Brisbane, 1.5hr drive from the sunshine coast, 4hrs from Byron region. If you plan your drive well, this can be a comfortable and safe journey through some beautiful countryside.
  • Make sure you have slept enough before doing the drive.
  • Car-Pooling is not only good for the environment, but its cheaper for you, it helps make the drive more fun, and it can be safer to have company in the car in long drives. Check out the Earth Freq Car-Pooling Forums.
  • Pack some good driving music to get you in to the spirit for the weekend!
  • And of course do not drive under the influence of alcohol or any other substances. This is unsafe and irresponsible and we anticipate RBT's will be set up on the way to/from the festival.

Access
Earth Freq is accessible by 2WD vehicles. Landcruiser Mountain Park has many 4WD tracks, for the adventurous types, but the main entry and access to the festival site is accessible by 2WD vehicles. But drive slowly on the dirt sections and don't drive there in a really low-set sports type vehicle. Standard sedans/wagons will be able to access the site  without any hassles.  Your ticket to Earth Freq only allows access to the zoned camping and stage areas of the event. If you wish to go 4WD'ing and explore the rest of Landcruiser Mountain Park - you must check in at the Cruiser Park Site Office and pay the appropriate fees.
